We don't want to be rude, but since [lraina] cannot understand that rules are rules and she still fights to correct people about what means: "it must be taken by you" and "be an elftowner" we started to ged mad. The whole thing is childish, the contest itself decided if her entry can stay or not, but she does not understand, we told her her entry cannot stay and she does not understand either. We better stop talking and the contest lord or lady can take action and voila.

2005-11-01 [Yuriona]: [Apus] that is a lovely photo and an equally lovely description of what's going on in the photo but the idea of the contest was to take a picture of water that inspired you to imagine a magical, mystical creature that lived there, not a photo of a classical greek fountain that obviously speaks for itself. *sighs* Oh well... it doesn't break the rules so it can stay.
2005-11-01 [Aidan Ryuko]: why do you think the greek made it.. some evil mage just turned the creatures to stone and they awaken every halloween night MUHAHAHA, about the image size.. I think adding " ?x=0&y=0 " is easiest.. if you rightclick your thumbnail you'll see a certain number after the Y/X, you can play around with it on a wiki untill you get an idea how big images get with what numbers

I have a pretty good idea as to why the ancient greek artist made the statue - he was probably commissioned to by some rich aristrocrat to honour the god Poseidon in the hopes of gaining the god's favour. :P Its still not a very original photo.
2005-11-01 [Aidan Ryuko]: well the other thing works easier for me but I'm a copy/paste guy:P but yes.. img300 works easier if you use it a lot:), gods favour eh.. gaining the god's favour by capturing an evil monster in a statue? =0 hm.. maybe that was their ancient way of taking a picture, people believed that taking pictures of someone would steal that persons soul.. maybe a statue stole the soul of that greek monster XD, imagine.. a monster inside the statue.. waiting.. and waiting.. untill you get close enough to grab you! once he gains enough life power he can break free from the statue! and roam around greece once again!

It paid to please the gods. Just look at Odysseus... he pissed Poseidon off and it took him 7 years to get home. 8O
